Everyone participating in the Bathurst Child & Family Network’s programs, projects, events and activities including staff, volunteers, students, children, young people, parents, families, carers and visitors, must keep to the child safe code of behaviour
Organisations
Local organisations can become BCFN participating organisations. Organisations may nominate staff members as representatives to participate in events and activities, subcommittees, meetings and initiatives. Involvement with BCFN helps local organisations become closer to the community and is a great way to reach out to Bathurst families. Other benefits include;
- Contributing to building a more child-safe, child-friendly and child-aware Bathurst
- Increasing the sense of pride and belonging in Bathurst
- Sharing and contributing resources including employees to achieve outcomes in our community
As a BCFN participating organisation you should share the view that

- Children and families have control over their own lives

Individuals
As a community member of the Bathurst region, you may express your interest to become a volunteer with BCFN.
